This gangster film, produced by Maciej Kawulski for Netflix and directed by Tadeusz Łysiak (Oscar-nominated for "The Dress"), is inspired by the true story of Ryszard J. (aka "The Professor" or "The Scholar"), a brilliant chemist from Kielce who, under field conditions, produced the purest amphetamine in the world.
