This brutal historical adventure drama directed by Maciej Kawulski is the first Polish feature film designed for IMAX screens. The film is set in the dark 17th-century Carpathian Mountains, where the fate of a mute highwayman (Tomasz Włosok), raised by nature, intertwines with the bloody mission of a ruthless inquisitor. Against the backdrop of the monumental Tatra landscapes, a brutal clash between untamed freedom and civilization and religious fanaticism unfolds. Visually, the production impresses with its dynamic, almost music video-style style, earning it the nickname "Polish Apocalypto."
